
Transportation Linking Communities (TLC), provides rides for any resident of Midland, Penetanguishene, Tiny and Tay that is 18+, without access to transportation. We own and operate three accessible vans and one regular van. We also have volunteers drivers that donate their time using their own vehicles.
Residents can use our service for medical appointments, shopping and social activities within the four North Simcoe communities. All riders must fill out an application form and be registered with our service.
We offer out-of-area rides (ie Barrie, Orillia, Toronto) to medical appointments only. For this service, the application must also be accompanied by a medical form filled out by a medical professional such as a licensed physician, licensed occupational therapist, nurse/nurse practitioner, optometrist or registered physical therapist.

- Parent & Child — children can travel if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
- Local transportation for health, shopping and social activities
- Out of area transportation for medical appointments must be accompanied by a medical form
- Rides are provided in volunteer cars & accessible vans
- Fees are calculated based on distance driven
- Service runs Monday to Friday, 8 am – 4:30 pm
- Office hours for booking rides: Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
- Saturday and Sunday for medical rides depending on driver availability
Our ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM can be completed online and will be automatically emailed to our office once completed. If needed for medical rides, The MEDICAL ASSESSMENT form needs to be downloaded, and filled out and signed by a medical professional. It can be emailed, faxed or dropped of at our office. A PDF copy of our REGISTRATION FORM can also be downloaded and sent to our office.
NOTE: Only the registration form is required to be part of the Food REACH program. Identify this program somewhere on the form.
